Music ministry at St. Joan of Arc is a very important part of the liturgical celebration by assisting the congregation in expressing and sharing the gift of faith within them by inviting them into sung prayer. Music at St. Joan of Arc blends contemporary and traditional selections to enhance the liturgical experience. ST. JOAN OF ARC CHORALE
Open to: men and women in high school and older
Qualifications: able to think in tune and match pitch
Season: September to June
Rehearsals: Tuesday evenings 7:00pm - 9:00pm in church
Other Info: presents music for 9:30am Sunday Mass weekly (September - May)
ADULT CANTORS
Open to: men and women in high school and older
Qualifications: able to sing in tune as a soloist
Season: year-round
Rehearsals: by appointment
Other Info: presents music for one weekend Liturgy once or twice a month
HANDBELL CHOIR
Open to: men and women in grade school and older
Rehearsals: most Tuesday evenings 6:00pm - 7:00pm (September - May)
Other Info: presents music at some weekend Masses, Holy Days, and during the Christmas and Easter Season.
CHILDREN'S CHOIR
Open to: students in grades 5-8
Qualifications: able to sing in tune and match pitches
Season: academic year
Rehearsals: Tuesday's 12:00pm - 12:20pm - 4th & 5th Graders
Other Info: presents music for school Liturgies and some weekend liturgies throughout the school year.
